Periodically check critical spare parts inventory levels for service team and for emergency interventions and generate requisitions to update service stocks when needed.
Execute Installation commissioning or maintenance of explosion protection and prevention products to follow recommended procedures.
Execute mechanical and electrical installation commissioning of main and auxiliary equipment.
Be the main contact for projects during installation. Inspect and ensure installed systems are in compliance to IEP Technologies Electrical and mechanical standards.
Ability to perform the explosion suppression systems and spark detection systems pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
Ensure all in-field activities are carried out safely complying with company Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) guidelines and procedures.
Lead and execute system inspection with required IEP methods and perform the relevant dimensional checks and alignment check.
Perform services, interaction with customers, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, overhauling of reciprocating compressors, trial runs, submitting service reports, carrying out risk assessment at customer’s site as well as in-house.
Manage timely rebuilds/overhauls of explosion protection system component including safety valves in the field or shop.
Diagnose system failures accurately and efficiently.
Assist Start-up Engineer during the commissioning phase ensuring proper and safe operation of the machine by evaluating the running parameters and troubleshoot control system problem as they arise.
Recommending / listing of necessary spares for services.
Coordinate effectively with Sales Engineer for timely and correct submittal of service, spare part quotations.
Be the primary responsible person to update the ESM service management software.
Ensure all data is up to date.
Write accurate professional reports acting as single point of contact between Customers and company concerning technical issues and interfacing with all involved functions.
Always represents the company in a professional manner and provides outstanding customer service while performing all assigned tasks.
Use company e-tools to retrieve technical documents and management of packing list, bill of material and drawings.
This role requires substantial travel to large manufacturing job sites to perform troubleshooting, disassembly and reassembly of reciprocating compressors and components.
Assist the Sales Team to identify new business opportunities at customer sites and provide feedback periodically.
Accompany the Sales Manager to meet with customers, representatives and other department’s etc., as required.
